Anyone know of any good online resources for teaching people how to program, operate, and calibrate PIDs? I just built myself a Kal clone and now I'm trying to learn how to set up the PIDs and its already giving me a headache! Thanks

Is it possible that your PID has an autotune feature? Many do. You simply do a "water brew", set your desired temperature and autotune on the PID and let it go. Once complete the different variables are set. Though you are tuning the PID with water and not wort, you will get very close to your desired settings.

Cool, I didnt know the autotune could do that. I believe my PIDS do have that feature. I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend.
