Arrogant Bastard Clone help

Hi

I am trying to perfect an Arrogant Bastard clone. After listening to JZ's brewcast, and brewing Yooper's crystal 120 Clone I am hoping to make an amalgam. I'd like to substitute some of my raisins, I mean Crystal 120 for some Crystal 150. Here is the bill I used for my previous version:

15.33 lbs of 2-row
2 lbs of Crystal 120
4 oz of Chinook (13.1%) (2 oz at 50, 1 oz at 10, 1 oz at knockout)
WLP007

In my attempt:

• I would say that it finished high (at 1.20) better attenuation would have helped.
• The aroma hops and overall hop kick was not there.
• The malt complexity is minimal.
• Holy raisins batman!

JZ is convinced there is 150 in there. I think I am too. What proportions of 120/150 should I go for? Half and half? Any help would be appreciated.

Well I couldn't find any 150 Crystal. So I am going with 1.5 lbs of crystal 120 and 0.5 lbs of crystal 80 with 14 lbs of 2 row. I am going to try to brew up 24 gallons of this stuff today. Wish me luck...

Good Luck I just bottled my AB Clone.........I only did 5 Gallons.

I also extract with steeping grains version.
