I was planning on using some Pacman yeast I am going to culture later tonight for an Oktoberfest that I'm planning on brewing next week.

The recipe I am using is EdWorts oktoberfest with minor tweaks due to efficiency and hops I have on hand.

GRAIN BILL

4.25 - German Pils
4.25 - German Vienna
1.60 - German Munich
0.50 - caravienna
0.65 - caramunich

single infusion @ 154 for 90

HOPS

0.75 perle^8.1 @ 60
0.50 tett^3.2 @ 30

O.G. 1.064
F.G. 1.014
IBU - 25

Ferment @ 55-60F

Any comments, suggestions, questions, random musings much appreciated!:mug:

Don't know if Scroto tried this, but I've done a pseudo lager using Pacman fermented in the 55 degree range a couple of times. Mine was a Munich Dunkel, but it came out nice. Even entered it in a competition just to see what a BJCP judge would say. Not good enough to win anything but, scored very good with no hits for yeast related flaws.
