Since becoming a member of this thread, I do not think I've seen one reference to DL Carlson One-Step No Rinse sanitizer. Everyone seems to use Starsan. I have been using the one-step and it works great, but have never used Starsan. Is there a clear benefit to one or the other?

I belive the difference is that one step is both a cleaner and a saintizer while starsan is just a sanitizer.

I use one step when I prepare my starter in my kitchen but when I'm in the brewery (garage), I use PBW for cleaning and Starsan for sanitizing.

One nice thing about Starsan is that it's no rinse sanitizer, just keep some in a spray bottle and you know things are good to go whenver you need it.
