Well I made Haus Pale Ale. My gravity after chilling was 1.047 (Supposed to be 1.052). The volume into my ale pail was just a hair under the 5 gallon mark. I have no idea how much wort i had pre-boil, I dont have measurements on my boil pot. According to beersmith, if i assume my preboil volume was 6.5 this leaves me at 68% efficiency.

Mash stayed stable at around 152 the entire time. The only real problem I had was it took alot of water to cool my wort with my chiller, and it seems like a complete waste of water.

I tasted the hyrdo sample and it tasted hop bitter and sweet at the same time.

Any wort into the fermenter on your first try at all grain is good. Be proud that you had the courage to try it, sit back RDWHAHB good job.
