Alright, so immersion chiller v.II is 98% done, will be 100% done before the evening is out. How do I best clean it before use tommorrow? Grease, dirt, grime etc. on the copper tubing, excess flux from the soldering...

Soak it in oxyclean overnight, then a good rinse? Should that be sufficent, or is there something better to do?

I use a good solvent (mineral spirits, for example) to clean flux deposits and grease from new tubing and solder joints. After that, a bit of OxyClean or other mild detergent scrub should take care of any lingering dirt/chemicals.

After removing the flux with a good solvent, a 20 minute boil in enough water to cover it, along with a few cups of white vinegar will make it come out looking like a new penny.
