Cheap Scale

Where is a good place to buy a cheap scale to measure hops etc?

How cheap? I spend ~$20 on a nice digitial scale at Target that measures down to 0.05 ounce - plenty precise for hops additions.

i've got a nifty one from bed, bath and beyond... digital even!

I use a regular old postage scale. I dont think you can get much cheaper.



You sacrifice some accuracy, but it gets me by.

TBH, a headshop I think. But they sell them all over the place. I think I saw them at the post office once, or look in an office supply store. The pic came from amazon, so I guess they have them there.

If you buy cheap you'll pay twice. Go spend $30 on a decent digital scale and quit guessing on the position of a needle and read the numbers...

I simply called the neighbor and they have one I can borrow . One less thing to buy!

I bought a SS large dial scale from Target, seems to have served me well, it was abour $20

How do I explain weighing "hops" in a plastic baggie late at night to the wife with that postal scale. Fairly conspicuous

LOL! I have one of those scales and made a joke about it being leftover from my dorm around a bunch of people at my last brew party. No one got it so I'm assuming they didn't have as much fun in college as I did!
