No offense but I don't think I would buy from them when they can't guarantee it won't arrive busted. When you run an online store the sale isn't final until I open the box and I'm happy with the product......maybe that's just me.

Are all erlenmeyer flasks the same or are some thick wall vs thin wall?

Some are very thin. They sell heavy duty versions as well which are more expensive with very thick walls. The thin walled types would probably work but you would have to be careful with thermal shock and obviously hitting them off things.
