do i need to rinse my equipment if i don't have time to let it dry or is the small amount left okay

Iodophor is a no-rinse sanitizer. Having a little bit on your equipment won't affect your brewing process.
It's my understanding that you actually need to have the equipment wet with Iodophor solution to maintain sanitization.
