the outlet post that the lock screws onto is cross threaded.Im going to try and rethread it but it looks like its to tight of space.i hate to throw a 45$ keg out has anyone had one do this and fixed it?

I took a dremel with a small cutoff wheel and salvaged a nice 10 Gallon corny I got for dirt cheap
