I've visited the site a few times for random tips and opinions, but I just registered to the forum yesterday. Right now I'm in the middle of my first homebrewing endeavor (a double IPA), and am hoping for the best! Everything seems to be going ok now, it's sitting in secondary dry hopping, and i'll be bottling in a week or so.. can't wait to contribute to the community and hopefully learn some useful things too!

yeah i'm a chemistry major here.. in my 5th year (doh) but i should be finishing up this upcoming may. i lived in asheville before coming here, i probably plan on going back there after finishing up.. pending there's some chemistry jobs available though
