I did it properly!
My first batch is in the fermenter and I'm down the local pub waiting for them to call the numbers for the meat raffle whilst drinking a pint of harveys Sussex Best!
I brewed my own recipe - a sweet 6.0% British ale made with coopers light extract. I used beersmith to work out my recipe and managed to hit my predicted OG of 1.060 perfectly!
I also just finished my kegerator build and it's looking awesome! Just spoke to the manager of my local pub and he said I could have one of the old kegs that the brewery forgot to pick up!
Today, has been a good day.
