I did it properly!
My first batch is in the fermenter and I'm down the local pub waiting for them to call the numbers for the meat raffle whilst drinking a pint of harveys Sussex Best!

I brewed my own recipe - a sweet 6.0% British ale made with coopers light extract. I used beersmith to work out my recipe and managed to hit my predicted OG of 1.060 perfectly! :D

I also just finished my kegerator build and it's looking awesome! Just spoke to the manager of my local pub and he said I could have one of the old kegs that the brewery forgot to pick up!

Today, has been a good day.

It only gets better when it actually starts to ferment and although it is a ways in the future, even better when you can drink some out of that new kegerator you built! Certainly is a fun and addictive hobby!
