It gives directions for both cold fermentation and room temp. I guess the preferrred method is cold but what effects would it have on the final product if not lagered and fermented at room temp?
 
Thanks for the reply. So basically it won't be as smooth and malty as intended, right? It will be kind of a hybrid. I don't have a way of effectively lagering currently. For the beer's sake would it be best to work on an ale for now until I can cold ferment?
