so its getting warmer now and i was wondering. after the yeast is done fermenting at around 60 or 65 degrees, will the beer be okay if it sits for another few weeks at temperatures around 75 or 80? i dont have a basement but if i have too i could take my beer to a friend close by and keep it in his basement.

I'd say that 80 is probably the limit. I prefer to age it in the 40s, but can't always do that, so I try to keep it no higher than 70.

If you're bottling, do a taste test. Store some at home, some at your friends, and that will help you to decide whether you need to do that in the future.
