Making wine with whey

I put the question to the wine forum, but haven't gotten a response yet.

I know that wine can be made with whey, but I don't know how. Has anyone here ever tried?

Most of the whey wine I've run across was just a mixture of whey and sack or sherry, but I had an Israeli whey wine that was made from whey. No idea how, though.
