I just brewed for my first time and bottled with the 2 handled capper which was fine, but a little time consuming. Does anyone know if until I get enough bale bottles, if I can use the rubber stopper type tops that have a locking arm that folds down? I know this isn't a good description, but it's the best I have to offer.

I believe you mean "swingtop" bottles. Those work well for homebrew. I agree that the two handed capper takes some time. If I were you I would try to get more of these type of bottles and eliminate capping all together. Those bottles, as I'm sure you know, cost more. Unless you are a lifelong Grolsh fan and have a fallout shelter full of them.
