I brewed an IPA last friday, and it has now been in the primary for 8 days. I have not been doing a secondary. My question in this, there have been no bubbles coming through the airlock for a few days now, is there any reason to continue to keep it in the primary vs. bottling and allowing it to continue to condition as well as carbonate in bottles?

I like to leave it about 2-3 weeks in the primary if I'm not doing a secondary. Even if fermentation is basically finished, the yeast are still busy cleaning up off-flavors, like diacetyl, and conditioning and clearing the beer. Keeping it on the yeast for two weeks or so is actually beneficial.
