Brewed 10 gallons of amber ale today with about 12 members of the Tucson homebrewer's club at Barrio Brewery today... wow said "brew" 3x in that sentence!

My brewday recap:
boilover
missed my OG
ran hot wort into fermenter
forgot aeration

Awesome day! I really enjoyed meeting new folks and the teamwork going on. All the beer I sampled was great!

BIG thanks to Dennis and Barrio!
Darren

I'm BEAT! Big ups to my buddy Gary with the assist!

Had no idea about the "holiday" until just now checking in.. Funny that I did brew an Irish Stout today and I usually brew on Sundays.. Meant to be, I guess.

I Brewed Edwort's Haus Pale Ale today. This was my second all-grain, I hit all my temperatures and numbers so I'm crossing my fingers on this one. I didn't realize it was National Homebrew day, so now I'm even more stoked. A day of brewing all-grain wears me out, I guess I'm getting old. Sitting back relaxing, enjoying Avery's Czar Imperial Stout, yummy.

Last 5 gallons brewing previous 5 gallons chilling.....well one hell a brew day and I'm happy wish I'd started a few hpurs earlier. Got to rack 5 gallons to the bottle before I can pitch the last 5 gallons on to some IPA yeast. I would't re use a yeast but I for got to pick up an extra as my LHBS was moving.

Bay de Noc Brewers had a very nice turn out for Big Brew Day. Brewed an IIPA to which the nearby maple tree made a few pollen additions. Also had a guy brew his first batch ever (extract American Ale). He was pretty excited.
I broke out my IPA (a little early) and decided it was the first time I really liked a brew I made! I think I'm finally getting it. Thank God.
Sampled many other brews, got a little sunburn, at some good food. Yup. A good day indeed!

We had a great brewday, special thanks to Brewers Connection for hosting it, free RO water and Ice too! I brewed 10 gallons of American wheat, about 80-100 gallons were brewed. We had a surprise guest too: Zane Lamprey and the film crew for the show Three Sheets were filming at Four Peaks and heard a bunch of guys were brewing their own beer so they popped in and enjoyed some homebrew with us while getting some good homebrewing footage. :rockin:

I tried a Sour Rye Ipa; forgot entirely about the day but everything came together yesterday, now im looking at the carboy churning away.

I decided to get a jump on the day as I also celebrate the same date as Beltane from the Celtic Season. Brewed up a Belgian Wit and an American Pale...
Spent Saturday going up to Santa Rosa to the Beverage People, had them sample my Rumplestiltskin Double IPA with a nice new addition of the Citra hops! Good reception on it too! They had three/four groups brewing up a storm! Fun!

Had to wait until today to brew..Brewed 6gallons of an original recipe IPA...1.065 OG...88 IBU

Although I wasn't there (was working a different beer festival) Zane Lamprey showed up to our brewout.

It was a great day, with a pretty large crowd, with tons of great beer to sample. Everyone brought stuff, plus Cap and Cork and the Craft club had several taps running all day, including one hooked up to a Randal.

We brewed up several gallons at our brewsite and raffled off a portable swamp cooler. I can brew in the garage during the summer now. :D
