Hi,

How long does 2 row grain last? I'd like to purchase whole in bulk and use as I go. Possibly 6 months storing it.

Also any tips on storing it?

Thanks!

Any grain you get is already going to have age on it, at least from the last harvest.

Store grain whole (uncrushed) and dry and it will last for quite a while. I keep mine in sealed bins to keep any moisture away, but as long as the bag is dry and vermin free you should be fine for a year or so.

I believe Tuts tomb had some barley that was said to be viable, so, if it's kept cool, dark and dry, A very long time. In other words, it depends where you can store it.
