alright, I'm going to give this a shot this week. though I don't have true lagering capabilities, I can pretty reliably keep my fermentation around 60 so I'm going to swap the yeast for California lager and see what happens.
 
This is a very tasty beer. I also brewed this recipe it with 100% Saaz hops, and 100% Hallertau Hersbrucker and those two turned up even better (4 oz. at 60 min and 2 oz. at 10 min). Next time I may try it with a mix of 50-50 Saaz and Hallertau Hersbrucker.
