The only white spots I think you're talking about looks like crap on the side of the jar.
The flash is causing a lot of reflective white spots, could you draw some red arrows in Paint (or whatever) to exactly which white spots you're talking about?
Based solely on the information provided, I don't notice anything that looks moldy.
However, I do think your scoby looks funny. What kind and quantity of tea and sugar are you using? That's pretty dark.
