hey guys, my air stopper seemed to stop showing signs of fermentation about 3 days after it started. It fermented vigorously for the first 3 days, but then came to a stop. The beer smells great, and i havent taken a hydometer to it yet, but i just was wondering if it should show any signs still. Its now day 9 in the primary

you're prob just fine. Definitely take a hydro and see if you hit your FG. That's really the only way to tell...

Watching the airlock is not always reliable. Break out the hydrometer and see how far the beer has attenuated. Chances are it is done -- I have had beers ferment out almost completely in not much more than a day.

Might as well give it a taste, too -- that's a good practice to get into (as long as you follow sanitary sampling practices).
