In about a week im gonna do a start a barley wine i was wondering the times of the different phases primary, secondary, bottle and also what temp to ferment them at... and is there anything i should know before starting one of these?

You are in for the long haul with a barley wine. You should expect primary to last 2-3 weeks, and secondary to last months. Times for a barley wine are more similar to the times for a lager. Ferment in the mid 60's depending on the yeast strand, and you will need to add yeast at bottling to carbonate because the other yeast will be long gone.

do i have to add yeast to lagers again??? and how would i go about adding yeast to the barley wine after the secondary is done?
