I have a dishwasher which died and i am unable to fix (electronics problem I think). So i have decided to salvage the useful parts and implement them in my brewery. So far I have what i think is a discharge pump, motor , capacitor, and solenoid valve.
First anything else i should try and get?

I was thinking of using the pump for a CIP system, and the motor for my grain mill, or would it be better for a mash mixer.
Is the solenoid valve likely "food grade" could i use it to control cold water in?
Anything I need to keep in mind when using this stuff, it is all 110/120V AC so direction should not matter right?

I second the spray bar (if so equipped).

Also, heater and thermostat (if it has one). (use these for a keg/carboy cleaner, along with the pump).

I bet you could find a use for the level switch also (fly sparge).

Trying to think of what else.....

Turn it on it's back and use the inside as a 30-gal mash tun?
