I am looking for a Black Imperial Pale Ale extract recipe. If anyone has one they have tried and felt it was a good result let me know. I would like to make that my next brew. Thanks

I don't think a Black Pale Ale is possible. Is it black, or pale? 
Also, ditto on the Northern Brewer recipe. have made it and it's quite good.

If it is an IPA wouldn't that imply Pale Ale?

Thanks guys. I think I may try the stone 15th anniversary. I didn't try the beer, but can you go wrong with anything that is stone. I did a kit fro Great Fermentations in Indy that was a Black IPA but wanted to go a little stronger and that is why I was looking for an Imperial or Double IPA version. If anyone has any other suggestions I would still love to hear them
