I brewed a Young's Special London Ale, it's been sitting in primary for 3 weeks, and here are my numbers:

OG 1.079
FG 1.024 (if it's done)
ABV: 7.2%

Expected numbers per the recipe were :
1.066-1.067 OG and 1.016-1.017 FG with an ABV of 6.3%

Is this beer done or should I give it more time? Is this low attentuation or simply a high FG? Also, I probably underpitched the yeast (Wyeast 1968)

With a OG over 1.060, it becomes harder and harder for the yeast to thrive in the wort. So given the fact that you underpitched combined with the high OG, I'd say that 1.024 is going to be about as low as it's going to get. I'd rack it to secondary and let it sit for another couple weeks just to age, but I wouldn't expect it to get much dryer.
