I need some advice on beer storage.

I am using an enclosed closet that is located in the garage. The temps can get as high as 80 degrees in the garage and closet.

Is this going to hurt the beer I have stored in the closet, its out of sun light?

What can I do to drop temperatures.

Thanks,

Mike

I really doubt that 80 degrees is going to be a problem. If you were hitting 100 of above, I'd worry about it....but 80, I think that you're fine...

No issues with temps then....they'll be fine...it's not ideal, especially if you are planning to age any of the beer for a long time (if you are planning to save a few bottles of your beers to sample in a year or something, store those somewhere else that's cooler, like in the back of a closet), but it won't harm the beer you plan on drinking within a few months to store it warm.
