New guy from Kansas here, never brewed before, but I just put my first batch of Muntons IPA bitter in the fermenter today (5 hours ago). No bubbles yet but I’m followed the instructions exactly so I’m hoping for the best! Looking forward to learning/enjoying all I can from this hobby.

Welcome to HBT! :mug:

I think it's great that you are following the instructions and I'm sure your beer will turn out to be delicious. The only thing I will caution you about is if the instructions say to bottle anytime before 2 weeks is over. That is a terrible idea. Please make sure the yeast has finished fermenting before you bottle or the results could be explosive.

Thanks, I had the same advice from another brewer and I will follow it.
