Evidently, if you missed it, you have to buy it, but WOW.
Not only did the quake cause the huge tidal wave, but it dropped the coastline down 3 feet, effectively making the wave even taller..
Most big quakes last 10-30 seconds. This one clocked over 5 minutes.
True act of god kinda stuff.
