New York Beer

My girlfriend is going to be in New York City for a week in March. I was wondering what beers would be good for her to bring back? I live in Texas and we get most Brooklyn Brewery and Six Point beers, but I'm not really familiar with anything else.

Would love suggestions on not impossible to find beers that aren't available in Texas.

Not sure what's not available in Texas, but Ommegang makes excellent beer.

If it were me I would get some Two Roads Brewery (CT) their DIPA is awesome.

Ommegang is also something I would grab...everything by them is delicious.

Bronx Brewery has some decent beers as well.

Southern Tier, Captain Lawrence, Greenport if available.

Southern Tier for sure. I'm on the exact opposite end of the state, let me know if ya find one you must have and we can set up a trade.

I totally forgot about Ommegang and Southern Tier. We get a lot of their typical stuff. Do they have any local only beers that are must try?

I typically like stouts, IPAs, and sours, but usually willing to try almost anything.
