Okay, that's pretty cool. I would have to rig it to a ladder or something as I'm brewing on the driveway right now. But, still, cool. Good job. Is that just a funnel for the bottom?

How did you cut a clean opening in the bottom of the bucket? Thanks for your response! Bill
 
You could rig it up as a grist hydrator. That would be awesome- maybe a little overkill for a 5-10 gallon batch.
 
That is neat. I wonder if you could just attach a valve to the flat bottom without a conical shape and then just dump the remaining grains that don't come out. If you used a flat valve then you could still store it as a bucket upright.
