Can beer or cider brewed in gallon jugs turn out as good as beer brewed in larger quantites. I've heard that small batches make bad beer. I just want to be able to sample a bunch of different kinds, rather than getting five gallons that are all the same. Also, would such a small batch-size cut down on the time it would take to bottle-condition?
