So I brewed my 1st batch of beer. on the 2nd fermentation, I started seeing some white spots in my beer. I opened up the Carboy and it didn't smell bad at all. It smelled like beer. the question I have is it mold or is it yeast just swimming on top. I did take some out and tasted it, and the taste was like warm 90 shilling.

I have some pix's of it but not sure how to post them on here.

So should I just wait another week and bottle? or just wait 2 more weeks and bottle?

When in doubt...give it a week.
Sounds perfectly normal to me. I'd give it a good 2, then bottle, but 3 will not hurt a thing. Let's work on a terminology bit here though....It's called a secondary, but it's not really a second ferment. It's more of a clearing stage...where all the nasties either float out or settle out, leaving you nice clear beer in the middle.

What's on deck for brew #2?
