How long can I leave a blow off tube on my IPA before I put the airlock on? Krausen already went through the tube and into my bottle of sanitized water.

Thanks

You can leave it on the whole time. Some people switch to an airlock and some don't. I've left the blowoff tube on the entire time for most of my beers for simplicity. The only issue would be if you switched to an airlock before the blowoff is complete. You can leave the blowoff tube on the whole time it's fermenting/conditioning or switch to an airlock and it will be fine.

Here is the setup. Basement stays between 64--67 all day.
