Help! Multiple Hop Additions

I'm following instructions that say to add the bittering hops in a muslim bag to the boil, after 30 min, add flavoring hops. But do I remove the bag with the bittering hops or leave it in for the entire boil?

Leave them in for the entire boil.

Leave them in for the entire boil. A bag isn't really necessary for hops, it just keeps some sludge out of the fermenter.

It doesn't indicate that the bag with the bittering hops should be removed.

Leave them in, but make sure they are facing the east side of the boil kettle. I keed, I keed!!

Yeah, I'm 5 min from Adding the next addition and mistyped muslin or my phone auto corrected. I was in a rush to post. But thanks!
