I'm thinking about using Cooper's carbonation tabs when I bottle my next brew, but I've been a little hesitant about using them in the past, and stuck with priming sugar. Has anybody had any bad experiences with them, or are they worth trying?

I haven't heard about anything "bad" about using them, it's just another way of doing things. You mihgt wanna read through the similar threads box below, there';s even an discussion about both munton's and coopers that you may find helpful.

I'd rather bulk prime if I'm bottling a whole 5g batch, but I have a bag of them for small things, like priming a couple six packs of apfelwein when I want the rest still.

I, too, keep them around in case I want to prime a few bottles "on the side" for some reason.
