ToØl and Buxton Brewery did a collaboration some time back this year which resulted in am amazing beer named Collateral Carnage.
Buxton refer to it as a DIPA and ToØl referred to it as an American strong ale. IMO its not typical of other DIPA's I have tried, but its not quite a Barley wine either, but I would its still somewhere between the two.

I know its seems a lot of melaniodin malt but the beer is actually quite dark and it can be the only source of the colour given the rest of the malt bill.
I will adjust the bittering addition to get the correct number of IBU's. Suugestions on the target IBU's welcome. The beer is bitter/sweet and not as cloying as some other DIPA's I have had.
Help with the hop schedule would be useful too. I am assuming they as Apollo just for bittering, its not as hoppy as some IPA's I have had. But the citrus qualities are very forward.
All help welcome with cloning a beer you have probably never tried.
