This one comes off a lot like Sierra Nevada all though it seems a bit maltier to me which I kind of enjoy. It's very simple as well. Here are the ingredients.

Ingredients:
6lbs Light DME
1lb Crystal 60L
.25lb Carapils
.5oz Nugget Pellet Hops
1oz Pearle Pellet Hops
1oz Cascade Plug Hops
WLP001 California Ale Yeast

Boil:
Steep 1lb of Crystal 60L and .25lb of carapils for 30 minutes in 1 gallon of 160F water.
Add 2 gallons of water to bring the boil volume up to 3 gallons.
Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
60 - Add 3lbs of Light DME off the boil.
60 - Return to boil and add .5oz of Nugget hops.
45 - Add 1oz of Pearle Hops.
30 - Remove from heat and add the remaining 3lbs of DME. Return to heat.
0 - Remove from the boil and cool wort.

Fermentation:
Add enough water to bring the total volume up to 5.5. Pitch your WLP001 yeast starter as close to 68F as possible and aerate liberally.

Ferment until final gravity is reached (1.012). This only took 7 days in my case.

Once fermentation is complete, rack to a secondary over 1oz of Cascade Plugs cut in half for one week.

Priming:
Prime with 5oz of corn sugar.

I have a question. It seems that hop plugs are in short supply. Is there any alternative. Adding Cascade pellets in the secondary maybe?
