I am about to brew make second ever batch and wanted to do an IPA. This is my favorite style of beer, especially ones on the more citrusy side. I just recently had a Stone Enjoy By and it had the most wonderful citrusy aroma and taste. I'm not really trying to clone that particular beer, but just the style. With that being said, does anyone have a good IPA extract recipe more on the citrusy side? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

% LB OZ °L PPG
67% 6 10 Briess CBW Golden Light LME Boil 4° 35
20% 2 ~ Briess DME Golden Light Boil 5° 43
8% ~ 12 Briess Vienna Malt Steep 4° 36
3% ~ 4 American Wheat Steep 2° 39
3% ~ 4 Briess Carapils Steep 1° 34

first wort 90 min 0.6 Magnum ~ pellet 14.0 » 29.6
boil 20 min 1 Galaxy ~ pellet 13.4 » 26.7
boil 15 min ½ Centennial ~ pellet 10.0 » 8.2
boil 10 min ½ Centennial ~ pellet 10.0 » 6.0
boil 1 min 1 Galaxy ~ pellet 13.0 » 1.8
dry hop 7 days 2 Centennial ~ leaf 10.0 » 0.0

This was my last extract IPA, I have since gone all grain and haven't gotten the reviews since this one. I know first wort hopping is weird with the Magnum but it made a very smooth even mouthed bitterness.

Cheers!

I would have to agree with Yooper...

I just had a DFH 60 minute for the first time and I'm dying to cook up her recipe

I've had pretty good results with this recipe:

5.5 gal boil, 5 gal batch

60 mins boil
1lb Caramel 40L
1lb DME amber/light
6lbs LME amber/light
1lb honey

hops
60min 1oz nugget
45min 1 oz nugget
15min 1oz zythos
5min 1oz zythos
Flameout 1oz zythos
21 days dry hop in secondary at 62 degrees 1oz Amarillo whole leaf

ferm steps
12 days primary (ale pail) @ 75 degrees
21 days secondary (5 gal glass carboy) @ 62 degrees
14 days in bottle @ 75+ degrees

Citra is an incredible hop too and will work easily as well as Zythos but I'm a big fan of the zythos myself
