I like the all day beer days. Got 1st batch in the carboy, 2nd batch is brewing, and later I'm bottling apfelwein that has been in primary for 10 weeks. I have my last brew in a corny, and I have three more to fill, so I figured I better get to it. Here's what I made:

Trying to make something tasty but easily downed:

-------- GRAINS:--------
3lb Amber DME
2lb Light DME
-------- STEEPED:--------
.5lb Crystal 10L
.25lb Carapils
.125 Biscuit
.125 Chocolate
-------- HOPS:--------
.75oz Centennial 87% 60min
.50oz Cascade 6.3% 15min
.50oz Cascade 6.3% 1min
-------- YEAST:--------
WLP002 English Ale

26 IBU, hoping for some maltiness with a bit of hop balance

Trying to make a quick and easy light beer:

-------- GRAINS:--------
3.5lb Light DME
1lb Rice Solids (Shut Up!)
-------- STEEPED:--------
.5lb Crystal 10L
-------- HOPS:--------
.75 Willamette 5.0% 60min
-------- GRAINS:--------
WLP001 California

15 IBU, hoping for something that falls in between my homebrews of late and BMC.

Feedback is appreciated, I still consider myself green. I think the one mistake I made (aside from the rice solids :p ) was the amber DME - I should have gone with all light DME and used my steeping grains to get my desired flavors.
