How does that recipe compare to the actual celebration? That is one of my favorite beers of theirs!

I'll play.

This is by far one of my favorite beers. It is the third one I ever made (as xmas gifts) and I have made it twice since then. Its a Double Chocolate Stout and I can't wait to get more made!

It's damn good and I haven't drank a celebration after I made this so it's hard to say. I love celebration ale and I think this beer is either very close or even better. It's quite amazing stuff.

Might sound crazy but my favorite has been my first so far.........It was the Irsh Stout kit from Midwest (Extract). I plan to rebrew it as AG real soon.

Definitely the favorite for me and Mrs. uwjester is a slight variation of Jamil's Oktoberfest.

5# pilsner
4# munich
3# vienna

1.5oz hallertauer @ 60 min
.5oz hallertauer @20 min

I like my adaptation of Janet's Brown Ale. The grist is the same but the hop schedule changed of necessity and I love the way it came out.

12# American 2-Row
1# White Wheat
1.25# CaraPils
1.25# Crystal 40L
.5# Chocolate

.5 oz Northern Brewer (mash)
.25 oz Centennial (mash)
.25 oz Amarillo (mash)
.5 oz Northern Brewer @60min
.75 oz Centennial @60min
1.0 oz Northern Brewer @15min
1.5 oz Cascade @10min
1.5 oz Cascade @0min
2.0 oz Centennial (dry hopped)

This one is tough to duplicate because of the complex recipe and the fact that my hydrometer broke in between the preboil grav and the OG. Also I used some wort from a previous American Stout for the starter and just dumped it in at high krausen. It finished out at 1.010 and I fined with gelatin. A crystal clear and delicious hop bomb of a brown ale.

Well I only have 15 batches under my belt but my favorite so far was an HUB IPA clone that I attempted.
