So I'm currently mashing grains and rice hulls for a belgian wit. Hit my temp thus far and will be fly sparging. It's a recipe that I've made as extract and will actually be able to compare side by side. I'll try to post pics. Cheers!

Just north of Detroit. The weather is perfect today. Boiling away currently! I love this hobby.

In the fermenter fingers crossed. Just shy of my og but I'll get that dialed in. The wort had a more intense almost earthy aroma than when I've used either dme or lme. But otherwise a solid brewing day. Except when I inserted the air lock into the bucket lid. The damn rubber gasket ended up in the bottom of the bucket. Oh well.
