I have a bunch of apples ready to pick and make cider with now. However i dont have the time to do it (right in the middle of montana bow hunting season) anyway my question in would it hurt to freeze the apples and if it doesnt matter would it work better to leave them whole or to chunk them? Any help would be great thanks

I'd freeze them whole, but you can core them first if you want if you don't have an easy way to press them and remove the seeds without crushing them.

I make apple and/or crabapple wine every year, and I always freeze my apples and I actually prefer that as they are much easier to crush once they thaw!
