I'm making my first venture into brewing my own beer. My wife got me a mr. Beer kit, not knowing a friend and I had been talking about it for a while. I'm excited and started my first batch. Another week and I can bottle. I hope as I get better to upgrade my setup. For now I think this is a good introduction. I'm also exploring my next recipes. I love Newcastle and Guinness so if you have any suggestions throw them my way.

Congrats! There is a recipe for a Guinness type clone in the database, I just cannot recall the name. Spend some time here and you will realize quickly that is is very easy to upgrade!
