I just recieved the AHB Hefe Partial Mash kit. In the initial shippment they sent the Extract grail bill; I have since recieved the correct grains. My question is do I use the extra grain (1/2lb base, 1/2lb specialty)? And if I do should I omit some of the LME?

I'm leaning towards using it all and just expecting a small increase in Alc%.

Well its Brew Day. I decided to add the extra pound of grain, I will report back in case anyone ever has the same thing happen.

You did not mention the speciality grains.
More ABV is not a problem ever until it becomes one.
Just so long it does not push it beyond the style and taste you like, I would do it depending on the grains.
I really don't see 1 lb making that big of a change unless it was .5 lb of roasted barley or something along that lines. I have found out that 1 once means 1 once on some of the stronger grains.
