Hello from Pennsylvania

I came across this forum tonight while searching for some home brewing supply stores (the local shop in town went out of biz). The forum looks really cool. I've been making wine for about 6 years and I am considering trying my hand at beer as well in the near future.

It's harvest time here for some variety of grapes. This weekend I harvested my Cayuga grapes and also started a batch of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo which I acquired from a local winery. I also grow Gewurztraminer and Marechal Foch both of which I will be harvesting soon.

So you vets have a newb to pick on for a while. I look forward to talking with you all.

You should give beer a try. It goes much faster than the wine. It sounds like you may be busy with the wine for awhile though.

We sure could use your expertise for the wine threads here.
