pressure drop for regular beer faucets

Since only the German beer faucets seem to have an adjustable restriction inside, what is the pressure drop for regular beer faucets in the US? It cannot be 0, otherwise they wouldn't work better than picnic taps and it needs to be fixed.

I don't know of the figures for restriction in the faucets. However, I you switch to the Shirron faucets, they have a variety of different nossles that screw on that give you different rates of restriction.

I thought I read somewhere that the faucette itself has a pressure drop of 3psi, but may want to check on one of the draft system line balancing links out there (I suffer from CRS quite frequently)...
