We just brewed Midwest's Double IPA yesterday. They sent us 2 yeasts- the White Labs California Ale we ordered, and a Ferments Safale we didn't order. We pitched the white labs yesterday; should we pitch the safale when we rack to secondary, or was it just in the kit by mistake?

according to mid west's website, kit should include just one yeast. Congrats, it's a freebie, put it in the fridge

when you order from midwest they include a standard dry yeast. when you order a kit with the extra yeast they just leave the dry yeast in there because it was part of the original kit. I got the same thing with my Raspberry Wheat kit that I upgraded to a White Labs.
