SO I DECIDED TO TRY AND USE WHILRFLOC ON MY BATCH. I HAD NO IDEA WHEN TO USE IT. SO I CRUSHED THE TAB AND THREW IT IN MY KETTLE WITH ABOUT FIVE MINS LEFT IN THE BOIL. iS THAT GONNA EFFECT ANYTHING? IM PRETTY SURE THAT WASNT WHEN I WAS SUPPOSED TO ADD THE TAB

Yeah, it will effect things, but in a good way by making your beer clearer. 5 minutes is what I've seen in most recipes, so sounds like you did it correctly.

WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING???????

Whirlfloc is the bee's knees! :rockin:

No need to crush, just pitch the tablet in the boil kettle- I usually toss mine in at 10 minutes. Anywhere from 15-10 minutes from flameout should be more than adequate.
