I'm just getting into bulk buying. I make enough batches that a bag of base grain will last me 4-6 months. My question is should I get Rahr 2-row or Marris Otter? Both are used in many recipes and from what I have read they are "interchangable" but which would be better to have on hand assuming that at least 1 batch will be a Smash.

It depends on the style of beers. American Pales and IPAs, go with 2 row Rahr. English beers, go with Marris Otter.

I go through 1/2 a bag for a 15 gallon batch.

Your Stone IPA clone is on prolly my favorite so it sounds like American 2-row is the way to go for now.
